Foam
“Protec” AFFF Foam stored pressure portable fire extinguishers are manufactured and conformed to BS EN3 Parts 7 to 9 and SS EN Parts 7 to 9 : 2012 standards under strict ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System.
The Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) additive is a blend of perfluorinated and hydrocarbon surfactants. On Class A fires the foam enhances the cooling ability of the water base. On Class B fires the foam enables the formation of an aqueous film capable of spreading on the surface of burning fuels, which prevents vapour production and seals the surface.
AFFF will extinguish class A (carbonaceous) fires and class B (flammable liquid) fires.

• CE marked in accordance with the PED.

It is recommended that all personnel should be trained in the operation of the mobile fire extinguisher for their own safety and to maximise the effectiveness of the extinguishing agent.
